Career360 (“we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

We collect personal information you provide directly, including:

• Your name, email address and the details you include when you fill in a form on our website, such as a coaching or employer enquiry
• Your name, email address and where you’re job searching when you request the free Resume Final Check
• Your booking details when you schedule a call
• Your name and email address when you buy a digital product, such as the Job Search Toolkit
• Information you share during coaching, recruitment or outplacement engagements

Our website also uses cookies and similar technology to understand visits and measure our advertising (see Cookies below).

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiries and schedule consultations
• To deliver the coaching, recruitment or outplacement services you request
• To send you the Resume Final Check, or other resources you ask for
• To send you career tips and updates, only if you’ve ticked the box to receive them
• To understand how our website is used, and to measure and improve our advertising

Emails from us

When you request the Resume Final Check, we email it to you. If you also tick the box for career tips and resources, we’ll send a short series of tip emails over the following week or so, and occasional updates after that. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from tips doesn’t affect replies to a direct enquiry.

How we use and protect it

We use your information only for the purposes described above. We do not sell your personal information. We apply reasonable safeguards to protect it against loss, theft and unauthorized access. Information is retained only as long as needed to fulfil these purposes or as required by law.

Third-party tools

We use trusted third-party services to run our business, and they process information only as needed to deliver their service:

• HubSpot, our customer relationship and email platform, which receives our website form submissions and sends our emails
• Cal.com, for booking calls
• Gumroad, for digital product purchases and payments
• Meta (Facebook), whose pixel helps us understand visits from our social media and measure our ads

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections and withdraw consent for its use. To make a request, contact us at carolyn@career360.ca.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for basic functionality, for spam protection on our forms and, through the Meta Pixel, to measure the results of our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. Some features may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.
