Career coaching for mid-career professionals in the middle of a change. First, we get clear on who you are and what you want next — then I bring a recruiter’s view of the market to help you get there.
“Working with Carolyn was a game-changer for my job search. I was feeling scattered and overwhelmed, but she brought clarity and focus to my efforts.”
Dan H.Many of us grew up with a clear script for how a career should go: get the degree, start at entry level, climb one ladder and retire with a pension. Then the world changed faster than the script could keep up with, and I’ve felt that too. Coaching is where we set the old script aside and figure out where your experience fits in the world as it is now.
I’m a certified career coach, trained through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), which sets the gold standard for coaching. Every engagement starts with coaching, and when you’re ready for a job search, I switch hats and step in as your strategist and partner. I’ll always tell you which hat I’m wearing.
We start by surfacing what you’ve built and what gives you energy: your values, motivations, skills and the patterns that have shaped your career so far. Along the way, we draw out the experience you’ve overlooked. (I can’t count how often I hear “I didn’t think that was a big deal.”) This is where you reconnect with what you actually want, and where real confidence starts.
We turn that clarity into a story employers understand, with target roles, a master resume you write in your own words using my ATS-optimized template and edits, and a search plan that suits your personality and industry. I’ll also show you how recruiters search for candidates from their side, and how to set up your LinkedIn profile so you show up earlier in their results.
We work through the search itself: weekly goals and accountability, applications and outreach, mock interviews with written feedback and support through offer negotiation. If you’d like, I’ll also help find roles for you to apply to.
Four levels of support, from a focused one-month reset to nine months of partnership, paid monthly or every two weeks. Not sure which one fits? That’s exactly what the free consult is for.

“I had been beaten down by rejection emails. Carolyn uncovered so many things I have done throughout my career that I never would have thought of, and helped me feel ready to not spray and pray when applying to jobs but actually have a plan and approach.”
Coaching is valuable at any stage of your career, whether or not a job search is on the horizon. It’s a space to unpack what’s getting in your way and uncover solutions and perspectives you might not reach on your own.
My one-page checklist for the last read-through before every application, so the small things that cost people interviews get caught in time. Tell me where to send it, and it’s yours free.

A resume writer formats what you hand them and writes it in their words. I start a step earlier. Before we put pen to paper, we work out what you’ve actually built, what you want next and where that lands in the current market. Then you write the resume yourself, with my template, guidance and edits, which is why it reads like you and holds up in an interview.
I do. Career360 is based in Ontario, Canada, and I coach clients across Canada and the US. All coaching runs virtually, so where you live is never a barrier.
Not much. During the coaching phase it’s mostly reflection, thinking things through and jotting down what comes up. Once we’re working on your resume and search, you’ll do some of the work between sessions, and I’m a text or email away whenever you’d like a second set of eyes.
It runs 30 minutes and there’s no pitch. We talk through where you are, what you’re trying to figure out and what’s getting in the way. By the end, you’ll have a clearer read on your situation whether or not we work together, and we decide jointly whether coaching is the right next step.
No coach can honestly promise that. What I can promise is that you’ll know what you’re going after, have materials that show what you bring, and start your search with a plan and real confidence.
